Babies are our greatest asset. Without them there is absolutely no point to life – at all. Our birth rate crisis puts our once great country in terminal decline, in every way.
I think we have heard enough from the nihilists, the climate alarmists, trans-activists and other comedy acts. Viewed through the lens of history they will be seen as the light entertainment, distracting the passengers as Titanic Australia cruised straight, head-long, bow first into the Iceberg.
“And the band played Waltzing Matilda”, Waltzing Matilda indeed. What exactly did our ANZAC’s fight and die for? What were last centuries wars all about? Was it to enshrine our ability to rent an Airbnb on Collins St, Melbourne, or to catch an uber driven by a slave class without hope?
No. No way.
They stood on the shoulders of the great Western thinkers and leaders from Plato through Regan their voices echo today, a mere whimper. We fought Fascism… We fought Communism… Because authoritarianism is evil, no matter the excuse.
Pandemics, viruses or war seem too much like the emergency Julius Caesar needed to change Rome – to rule them. The enemy of Australia today do not wear uniforms, they wear suits and hoodies. They have neat perfect hair, and moisturiser, they have matted mullets and 3-day growth. They are in the global NGOs, the UN, the banks; they are tech leaders, the entertainers the street thugs and dealers. They are the faith leaders without God, the bureaucrats without heart, and the politicians without talent.
They are destroying the birthrate; the very fabric of our nation, and they don’t care.
They don’t care that when they bring in the next wave of immigrants (who come for a better life) that there is no hope for them. That every Australian born here, raised here has less chance of getting along here, so they remain unborn.
They don’t care that the so-called family court destroys the people it is meant to serve. Nobody wins, the biggest losers are the children who are often denied access to a parent. That young men see this disaster and think, “no, that’s not for me”, so young women wonder where all the good men went.
They don’t care that the cost of a home in a city in Australia is beyond the reach of the people trying to make a life in the town. They don’t care that the insane smoosh-up high-rise housing over the moving sardine cans is toxic to humanity, anti-family and anti-baby. They are toxic to care. The YIMBY, metrosexual, cat lady rack ‘n’ stack are exactly why we are NIMBYs. Those of us that do care, because we look at the plight of our children, our nieces and nephews, our babies, see that the future as it stands right now is bleak.
Of course, young women are prioritising career, and men are running from relationships. Of course, the pain of modern life for the conscientious is almost too much to bear. So those that live off the state breed another generation who will do the same, they don’t really care either. They prioritise a bong and a banana chair.
The problem is our nation has been built on the backs of the conscientious. Great, quiet Australians. People who just knew not to trust politicians, or men with fancy suits. They built this country on a quiet knowledge that it was the best place on earth. They made it fun and funny; they made it welcoming and laid back; they made it a hard day’s work and a drink at the pub; they made it a quiet observation in the morning and two-up in the afternoon. They made it a camper van on the beach and a rod on a boat, fish and chips with a steak and an egg. Football, meat pies, Kangaroos and Holden cars.
Those that made Australia the place for a better life, knew that babies were everything and then some. They knew that family, faith and freedom was the way forward. Always weary of a newcomer, never too far from a handshake.
The reality is, everything that made us great is still here, all of it, some of it dormant, most of it on crutches, but it is here. If we don’t fix the birth rate soon, the entire population will be displaced, and the Australian dream will give way to a nightmare. That will make the nation a lie. We owe it to those who seek a better life to demonstrate it. We owe it to ourselves and our own sense of self-respect to repair the joint for our kids and theirs. We have to have more babies, because babies are the way to keep the flame of hope and of culture, alive. Can we really look a digger in the face and say, “thanks cobber, we did you proud?”.
Everything we were, and everything we are, set us apart from the rest of the world. We must refuse to be completely replaced by those that we are not, or everything that makes us, Australia will be gone for eternity, and that must be too much to bear.
Let’s just get Australia back.
