An Essential Event for Christians Wanting Righteous Government
Join us for Church And State Dalby: an amazing afternoon of Biblical teaching and analysis on the relationship between Christians & government, and how we as believers can practically be salt which flavours & light which shines in the public square.
Following the huge success of the fifth annual Church And State Summit in Beaudesert (Qld, February 2022) and conferences in Moree (NSW) and Adelaide (SA), this unique event will include special presentations from Matthew Littlefield, Sandra Godde, Dylan Oakley, Rob Norman and Dave Pellowe, as well as time for Q&A and extended fellowship over afternoon tea.
” The Lord was amazed to see no one intervened…”
Many Scriptures like this in Isaiah 59:14-16 reveal the Church should not be apolitical (not interested or involved in politics). But what more does the Bible say about God’s people and politics, or the important public issues our communities are facing?
There is a pressing need for sound, non-partisan teaching on Biblical doctrines of authority of government, church and family (specifically in relation to each other). Church And State is encouraging Christians in every electorate to carefully steward political influence as Jesus would in our place – without blind loyalty to any politician or party.
- When: 1-5:30pm Saturday, 26 November 2022

Rob Norman planted and had pastored Southland Church, Adelaide, for 27 years when he accepted the invitation to become the State Political Director for QLD/NSW/ACT at Australian Christian Lobby. A mentor to pastors, business leaders and church planters, Rob knows what it takes to promote the unity of the Body of Christ, maintain the priority of the Gospel and equip Christians to understand and engage on the important public issues being debated.
Matthew Littlefield is pastor of New Beith Baptist Church and co-author of “Defending Conscience: How Baptists reminded the Church to defy tyranny“. He writes frequently on history, Christian culture and broader society at his website Young Gospel Minister, and is also published on The Good Sauce, The Spectator and Caldron Pool.
Sandra Godde, MA(Theol), LLB(Hons), BA, Grad Cert(Research) is the author of “Reaching for Immortality: Can Science Cheat Death? A Christian Response to Transhumanism“. She currently lectures in Christian studies at Christian Heritage College, Brisbane. She has been a Senior Lecturer in Theology at Citipointe Ministry College, Lecturer at Harvest Bible College, and taught religious and sociocultural worldviews. Dylan Oakley had a long career as a professional high school teacher where he was a courageous witness to students and faculty for the Gospel and Kingdom of Christ. Forced out by unjust medical mandates, he became a witness and prophetic voice in many of the anti-mandate rallies and marches, both on stage and person to person.
Dave Pellowe specialises in Christian voter education as the convenor of the annual Church And State Summit and publisher of the right-thinking website, The Good Sauce. His own articles have also been published in The Spectator, Quadrant Online, and more. His latest initiative is Locke Press, helping Christians and conservative authors self-publish for a greater share of profits from their own hard work.
