I’m a mum of three from Colorado and until May of 2021, I was a sleepwalking mum and a lazy Christian. Then the demonic transgender agenda hit our home.
One day, my shy 12 year old daughter was in a new school at the height of COVID protocol. She hadn’t made a single friend at her new school and she was asked to stay after school by her art teacher for an art club. But when she got there, she quickly learned it was actually GSA or gender and sexuality awareness club.
The teacher had invited in radical outside activists, predators who target kids as young as two with gender ideology. They told the kids what you hear in here, keep in here and that parents might not be safe. They encouraged the kids to pursue puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, convincing my daughter that her normal pubescent discomfort meant she was actually trapped in a boy’s body and she needed to fix herself.
They explicitly asked the kids who they were sexually attracted to, talked about concepts like polyamory and suicide. They gave out personal information to contact the predators. The teachers connected the kids online with these predators on Discord and WhatsApp.
They gave them toys and swag to correspond with their new queer and trans labels. And as my daughter left the room that day, her teacher pulled her aside and said, remember, you don’t have to tell your mum. Now, we’re really lucky that my daughter came home and told us what had happened to her.
But unfortunately, due to grooming, subtle grooming that had happened in the schools for years that we didn’t detect. And now this two hour meeting with predators, she truly believed she was trans. And this led to months, even a year of really, really dark and scary times for our family.
That confusion hit her deep. We took her to therapists hoping to help her and learned that in the state where we live, therapists are obligated by law to only affirm gender confused children. And so therapy made her worse.
And about six months after the incident, my daughter left us a suicide note.
Now, while we were fighting for our girl’s life, literally at home fighting for her, we were also fighting back against the people who caused this.
We contacted the district leadership who all doubled down, then the police because this was nothing short of sexual abuse.
No one would help us.
When I learned the power of public record requests, my right to see what my government is doing, I found so many disturbing things in my school district, like a 15 page transgender toolkit with explicit instructions on how to transition elementary, middle school and high school children, ages five to 18.
I found our district transitioning eight year olds, even after parents had found out and objected.
I found secret running lists of names and pronouns that were not to be shared with parents. And these terrifying demonic people gaining unfettered secret access to our kids.
I found emails between my school administrators and teachers and the predators who groomed my child, referring to parents as barriers that need to be removed.
I found emails just two days after the incident where they harmed our child and attacked our family. They involved child protective services to come to our home for a well child check on our family. We’re so lucky we didn’t lose our daughter to social services that day.
Our little girl was yanked onto this conveyor belt of transgenderism by trusted adults. She was encouraged to medicalize and even threatened to be taken away from us because we weren’t willing to affirm her confusion. When we went public with our story, very public, four other families came forward just from that art club alone.
One of the little girls had even attempted suicide because of the confusion and secrecy because she followed the rule that you don’t tell your parents. Since then, I’ve connected with thousands of other parents across the country and around the globe who have been affected similarly. Whose kids have been secretly transitioned or who have fallen into rapid onset gender dysphoria, believing that they’ve been born in the wrong body.
So let’s fast forward to today.
Our daughter just turned 16 and she has completely desisted. She’s an overcomer and she’s thriving now. I’m only able to be public because she asked me to be.
We watched What Is A Woman, the Matt Walsh documentary on Daily Wire, and she said,
“Mum, why didn’t I know this was happening to me while it was happening?”
I said, “That’s by design. They took advantage of you.”
And she said,
“How do I make sure this doesn’t happen to other little girls?”
And I said, “You let me tell your story.”
And so that’s what I continue to do. Ours is a horror story, but with a happy ending. We saved our own daughter by banding together as mum and dad.
We truly became a team from day one. We never wavered from the truth or affirmed her self-hatred. We removed all the harmful influences immediately.
We got her out of the school. We got her off the Internet. We got her off of the cell phone.
We replaced those toxic relationships and influences with healthy ones.
We got outside.
My husband spent more time with her, daddy and daughter time.
And again, we never gave in to the lie that she had been sold.
Now that we’ve been blessed to save our own daughter, we fight back. Number one, by exposing the evil when we see it and urging parents to exit public schools. They are government schools. They don’t work for the public, and they’re not good for our children. We fight back with lawfare.
I filed a federal lawsuit. In fact, Pam Bondi, now the Attorney General of the United States, took on my case that is ongoing in federal court. And we fight back by creating and fighting for legislation in our state and in our country that protects children and strengthens parental rights.
We also made a documentary film about our story called Art Club. It’s available for free at ArtClubMovie.com. You can watch it for free on YouTube and Rumble. And I also remind parents and grandparents that you have the God-given authority over your children and grandchildren. No one can take that right from you.
So my call to action is that you first and foremost just talk about this issue and lean into protecting your family. You need to get before your school boards, before your city and state councils.
You’ve got to pay attention to the laws that are being passed, to the curriculum that kids are being presented with. We have got to take a more active role in education for the sake of all the kids that are left in the system, even after we’ve removed our own. So I’ll end with this advice.
I have younger boys. They were one and six when this incident happened with our daughter, and I knew I had to protect them from this ideology, but I also knew I didn’t want to talk to them about gender and sexuality. So I’ve boiled it down to these four things that I always leave parents and grandparents with.
#1. Safe adults do not ask you to keep secrets.
It doesn’t matter what that secret is. If they ask you not to tell your parents, they’re not safe.
#2. No one should ever ask you to label yourself.
You do not need pronouns. You do not need to pick your gender.
You don’t need to pick a political party. You’re a kid. You’ve got all the time in the world to figure it out.
#3. Trust your instinct and trust the Lord.
This goes for parents as well. When our daughter was swept into this ideology, the whole world told us to go along with it.
“You must affirm her or she’ll commit suicide”, but we knew instinctually that that was not right for our child. We never wavered from our instinct and that goes for your kids as well. Teach them. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t and you, my child, have the authority to remove yourself from something that doesn’t feel right, from situations that tickle your instinct and you don’t feel like you should be there.
You have the authority to remove yourself.
And then finally,
#4. Tell your kids early and often that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. He doesn’t make mistakes.
I didn’t know I had to do this, but I now understand that we need to be speaking these truths over our kids early and often.
I truly believe that if we all take matters into our own hands, we stand up for our kids, get engaged, pay attention, speak up for what’s right, we will win this battle of good versus evil for our kids.
Like Erin said, she gave some really excellent pointers.
In South Australia, we can still opt our child out of health and sex ed, and I have a letter from our education minister (who doesn’t like me). But he wrote in a letter to me, telling me you can opt your child out if you want to.
That’s where the really explicit stuff is. That’s where they’re rolling condoms on bananas and all the stuff.
While that is really the minimum thing you can do, please do understand this is an extremely pervasive curriculum. It is in math, it’s in science, it’s in history. They’ve literally changed the textbooks. Eg in the question it asks things like
“There’s two homosexuals who are do-do-do-do, so what’s the sum?”
They’ve literally weaved it into everything.
So that’s a minimum.
Now the board is legally responsible for the school so you need to write the letter to the board, not just the governing council. It needs to be written to the board and then CC in any local MPs.
They operate in secrecy. Don’t do that! Out it!
When I went to my school, I CC’d our local MP, who just happens to go to my church, and the trans movement did not like that. They felt very outed. You can CC in anyone to an email.
Quote – Recommendations 6.6 standard 3 from the Royal Commission into Institutional Sexual Abuse.
The Department of Education in this country loves that document, right? They quote it all the time. That was Julia Gillard. There’s a section on families and family involvement, and it says in there that for a child to be safe, parents need to be involved.
They need to know what’s going on. They need to be able to speak into the governance and the life of the school. You take that quote and you put it in your email to the board, and you say,
“This is what the Royal Commission says. Why aren’t you following the Royal Commission? That doesn’t look good for you.”
They were very uncomfortable with that, because they love the Royal Commission.
Something they want you to believe is that you’re the only parent that feels that way. You are not the only parent that feels that way. Most parents don’t like this, but they’re too scared to say anything, because you’re going to get called a bigot. You’re going to get told, I was told I was a troublemaker, I was stirring the pot, I’m destroying the community.
Well, I’m powerful, just because I went and asked some questions.
They are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. God made us male and female. That’s the truth.
If you teach your child at home what truth is, when they hear lies, they will be able to differentiate between truth and lies. Equip your child. I highly recommend homeschooling, but if you are sending your child to school, there are some ideas to equip you.
With the classification and copyright laws, teachers will use, they’ll hide behind the national copyright laws to say,
“We can’t send out the curriculum”.
In South Australia, Independent member of the Legislative Council, Sarah Games, is going to try to take that barrier down so we can have transparency under one of the South Australian Acts.
When it comes to classification, a lot of these books, if classified and treated equally to videos and games, would be restricted.
In South Australia I have a paper petition, (because we’re the only state that has to do tabled paper petitions for Parliament. We can’t do electronic) so far I have 5,000 signatures that seek conditions on how they’re accessed and displayed and true classification. That’s what I would like to see.
There’s two ways to go about it, and it can happen either on a state or federal level.
Under the National Libraries Regulations, there’s a section that can add conditions on how materials can be lent under the national. In a state, it can happen under the Libraries Act. Or under the Classification Act, the director of the board can add conditions to how library materials are wrapped and sealed.
If you’re a librarian or if you can get on the library boards in the state or federally, you can start to look at these changes or try it through Parliament. There’s different ways. There’s libraries regulations or classification.
And if you have a complaint about a film, video, or publication, you can actually make a complaint officially online as well. So there are ways you can do that. But all of the policies are school policies.
There seems to be about a dozen legislations around everything that there’s so many oxymorons on there. And they contradict each other. They’re multi-web, multi-layered.
The trans movement seem to hide around legislation after legislation after legislation. And that’s how they get around everything. But there’s nothing that shouldn’t stop them from having transparency or involving the parents.
They’ll say parents are involved. They’ll say the Governing Council approves these third-party providers. But the Governing Council does not see the materials that they’re approving.
That’s the problem too. We need to be very active and don’t just take them on face value.
Sit with them. Look at it. Read it.
And don’t just take their face value because, like I said, what they call offensive and what I call offensive are two different things. Angela and I, at the end of last year, were talking and we felt the Lord give us an idea. So this year we have been busy working to form an international coalition to stand back and push back the World Health Organisation and the United Nations.
We’ve got a whole team of people who are specialists in their field. We’ve got international journalists, people who have spoken at the United Nations.
There’s a whole collection of us and we’re still gathering people and talking. We want to bring all the people who are already fighting, because we’re not trying to wake up the sleepyheads, the people who are already fighting, who are already running and run together. We want to get together and go to the WHO and the United Nations and say, that is enough.
We see a direct correlation between the introduction of CSC and the decline of our children’s wellbeing. We want you to look at the science because the science says this isn’t working. We are doing that in September / October.
There’s a WHO meeting in Washington, D.C. And we’re going to go rock up and knock on the door with our international journalists and we’ll see what happens. But one of the things I think is really interesting is, in the middle of the WHO conference is the Day of Atonement. The Day of Atonement is a day of forgiveness, repentance and judgement.
God planned this day. I don’t know what he has planned, but I know that God has penciled this day in his diary. So pray for us.
We need your prayers. And if there’s anyone here who you think would have some wisdom to contribute, we’re open to talking. So does anyone have any questions?
What’s the organisation called?
The organisation is called the International Coalition for Children.
We’re just about to have an international meeting next week. And after that we will go global.
What have you found most effective in stopping the constant buck passing from one kind of overseeing body to the next and you kind of come full circle and you haven’t gotten anywhere? What have you found most effective in stopping that process?
It’s public awareness. The more public outlaw, the more people that you can get to support you. Because members of parliament won’t take any action unless there’s public support.
You can write as many emails as you want with one person or you can have a lot of people write a lot of emails to one person and really bombard your members of parliament and they’re more likely to take action.
Something that guides me in the things I do, sometimes very radical, is that one day I will stand before the God of heavens and earth and he will ask me, Felicia, you were there in Western Australia, you were there in Perth and the schools were doing all this. What did you do?
We do need to be active. I mean, clearly prayer is the first thing.
But without prayer, that’s like leaning on the shovel and wanting a hold-up. I’m also a dad with a kid in school and I’m constantly looking at what’s going on in the library. This is always live for me. But you may also need to be able to be supplied with different stories so that you can have an effect.
For those who don’t know me, I’m Peter Abetz. I was the State Director of Australian Christian Library here for seven years.
Jacob Hill has taken over after I retired. There are actually groups doing exactly what you said. Some of you may be aware of what happened in Albany.
A massive kerfuffle went on there about those kinds of books in the public library being accessible to children. This has resulted in action in a number of libraries. In my local library in Gosnells, they’ve actually put those books out of reach of children now.
It’s that kind of action that is taking place. What I’d suggest you do is if you’d like to participate, there’s no point in setting up yet another organisation because James is working in that space and if you go to the ACL table and put your details down on the sign-up sheet, you can be part of the action.
ACL is doing training for volunteers so that we can actually move these things forward.
I absolutely agree with you, Felicia. We’ve got to take action.
The good news is there are people who have taken action already and we need to join them.
